David Hooper

David Jackson Hooper, age 74 of Chapmansboro, TN passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015. He was born in Cheatham County, TN on May 7, 1941 to James Lynell and Callie Estell McCool Hooper.He was a Christian man and served in the U.S. Army. He retired as a supervisor after many years of service with State Industries in Ashland City, TN.Mr. Hooper was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Hooper and sister, Jenny Pickett.He is survived by his wife, Irene Hooper; daughter, Shelley (Gyle) Head; son, Scott (Dayna) Knox; and grandchildren, Laken Head, Bethaney Knox and Ryley Knox.The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Oaklawn Freewill Baptist Church in Chapmansboro, TN.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Oaklawn Freewill Baptist Church at 1280 Oaklawn Road, Chapmansboro, TN 37035 or to Alive Hospice 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
