Jack Garner

Jack DeBow Garner, age 82 of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, March 19th, 2016 after a long illness. He was born in East Nashville on November 6th, 1933 to the late Thomas Gailor Garner and Fannie DeBow Garner.Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army, an avid fisherman, a proud member of the Tennessee Central Railroad Museum Club and the Middle Tennessee Fly Fishing Club.He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Thomas Gailor Garner, Jr. and Robert Ellis Garner.Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly Hendrie Garner; son, Jackie DeBow Garner, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Garner (Randy) Roll; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Roll (Kyle) Craighead.Services for Jack will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice.
