Patricia Davis

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Patricia Ruth Davis in Nashville on August 15, 2015. A lifelong resident of Nashville, Pat was born on October 3, 1945.She worked for the Metropolitan Police Department of Nashville as a computer operator for some 20 years, before retiring.She was predeceased by her mother, Annie Ruth Marlow; her father, William “Doc” Davis; her sister, Mary Katherine Boner; and also by Odie Seat, her closest friend.Pat was kind and generous, simple in her tastes, a passionate Titans fan, a great fan of country music, and a lover of all animals.She is survived by her cousin, Wanda Caban; and her dear friends, Mary Kate Potts, Joyce Jackson, and Nan Piercy; and by her partner, Winnie Stine, and their much beloved dachshund, Maggie Ann.Memorials may be made in Pat's memory to the Nashville Humane Society or to Bonaparte's Retreat Dog Rescue.
