Vonzell Hudgins

Vonzell Thomas Hudgins, age 69 of Hermitage, TN passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 in Nashville. Mr. Hudgins was born March 21, 1946 in Nashville, TN to Cecil Thomas and Margaret Mahan Hudgins.He served his country, joining the U.S. Army in 1966. He worked as an upholsterer for M and B Furniture Company and later with Sharons Mattress Company.He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jerry Thomas Hudgins; brother, Robert Lee Hudgins and sister, Thelma Sue Hudgins. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris Marie Hudgins; daughter, Linda Hudgins; grandchildren, Ashley and Brandie Hudgins; great-grandchild, Mariyah Johnson and his four-legged friend, Little Man.A memorial service will be held at 6 P.M., Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Sixty-First Avenue United Methodist Church, 6018 New York Avenue, Nashville, TN 37209 with Rev. Jason Brock. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until the time of service on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Anglin Cemetery at a later date.
