In Loving Memory of Alison Tritt Lane
May 21, 1979 – January 1, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alison Tritt Lane, who left this world surrounded by the love of her family and friends on January 1, 2025. Born, raised, and deeply rooted in Jackson, Tennessee, Alison touched the lives of many with her vibrant personality, dedication, and kindness.
Alison is survived by her beloved children, Ayden Graves and Harper Lane; her mother, Kathy Tritt; her siblings, Blair Hunsucker, Lindsey Tritt, and Matthew Kirby Tritt; her nieces, Rowan Bryant and Madelyn Barnett; and her precious great-niece, Remi James Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Tritt; her grandparents, James and Ann Kirby, and Raymond and Thelma Tritt; as well as her brother, Jonathon Shay Tritt.
Alison was passionate about her work as the Sales and Catering Manager at the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel, where she brought people together and created memorable experiences. She extended her enthusiasm for community through her active involvement in the Jackson Exchange Club, the Jackson Rotary Club, and her role as a Red Coat with the Jackson Chamber of Commerce. Alison also gave generously of her time and energy as a dedicated Den Leader with the Boy Scouts of America.
A devoted mother, Alison was immensely proud of her children and found her greatest happiness with them. She was an avid reader, she enjoyed camping, kayaking and loved the peace of the beach. Known for her thoughtfulness and selflessness, she found joy in doing for others and always put the needs of those around her before her own.
A celebration of Alison’s life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Aldersgate Methodist Church, 1050 N. Parkway, Jackson, TN. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the service to follow.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff in CCU at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and St. Thomas West for their compassion and excellent care.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ascension St. Thomas Foundation in Nashville, TN or Safe Hope Center in Jackson, TN, reflecting Alison’s dedication to service and community.
Alison’s legacy is one of love, service, and compassion. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the lives she touched.
