Anthony "Tony" V. Santaguido of Old Hickory, TN passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the age of 76 during a heroic battle with cancer. He was the husband of Dorthy (Bettcher) Santaguido and they shared 11 happy years together.Born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 20, 1944 he was the oldest son of Victor and Anna (Bove) Santaguido and attended Taylor Allderdice High School. He worked as a meat cutter for many years and also was a singer in bands such as The Elmonics and The Marcels. He moved to Nashville in 2004 where he met his loving wife Dorthy.Anthony was a devoted member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and built a strong family of friends there. He had a lifelong love of music and singing especially Motown and Frank Sinatra. He performed as a Sinatra impersonator at several venues in the Nashville area. He also had a passion for playing golf and loved to watch the NFL and NHL. He was a great Italian cook who made the best meatballs you have ever tasted. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle.He is survived by his wife Dorthy (Bettcher) Santaguido, his daughters Tonia Zdarko (James) and Ashley Santaguido, and stepson Dallas Sessoms (Tracy), a sister Virginia Lawrence (Robert), and brothers Victor Santaguido and Roberto Santaguido (Eilene). He leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Marina, James, Samantha, Morgan, Kirsten, Justin, Alyssa, Alexandra and also 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard and Dino, and sister Linda.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 15
