Arlene Sundeen

Arlene Marie Sundeen, age 80 of Franklin, TN, formerly of Stuart, FL, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015. Mrs. Sundeen was born May 22, 1935, in Saint Paul, Minnesota to August and Hilma Anderson Jyrkas.Mrs. Sundeen will be remembered for her adoration of her children and grandchildren. She loved the ocean and was brilliant with needlepoint and knitting. She worked as a cashier at Publix for 17 years before retiring.She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Paul David Sundeen.She is survived by her daughter, Denice Marie Alles; sons, Todd Henry and Neal Allan Sundeen; grandchildren, Amanda, Sadira, Jacob, Zane, Maxx and Ryan; and cousin, LaVern Anderson.A service to celebrate Mrs. Sundeen's life will be conducted at 3 P.M., Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Indian Riverside Park, 1707 NE Indian River Drive, Jensen Beach, FL 34957.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
