Barbara Creel

Barbara Helen Creel, age 69 of La Vergne, TN, passed away on February 3, 2023.  She was born on October 31, 1953, in Nashville, TN, and grew up in Donelson.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Jake (Ruth) Hostettler of Daytona Beach Florida,  and Dot (Charlie) Luter of Nashville TN, two brothers, Andy Hostettler and Bobby Hostettler.  She is survived by her children, Chris (Richard) Cook of Lavergne, TN, and Shalako Creel of Joelton, TN, three grandchildren, Tyler Cook, Kimberlee (Aaron) Gallegos, and Kristen Cooper,  great grandchildren, Cali and Emery, brother, Charlie (Diann) Hostettler of Jacksonville, FL, and many friends and former coworkers.

Barbara worked for ten years as a parts delivery driver at Nacarato Truck Centers before she retired.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN or a local pet shelter.  Barbara had a huge heart for animals and she will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday 2/16

Visitation from 12:30-2:30 with celebration of life at 2:30.
