Billy Ware

Billy Ware, 82 of Antioch, Tennessee. Entered eternal rest on Tuesday May 30th, 2023 in Antioch TN. He was born February 11th 1941 in Oakdale, Louisiana from the union of Jasper Buxton and Carrie Guree. He was a member of Christ Church, and loved to read his Bible. Billy was happily married for 53 years to Nelva Ware and became a widower in September of 2018. Billy loved fishing, hunting, sports of all kinds but most of all his football teams of LSU and the NFL Saints. He loved spending time with his dog Little Bit and taking rides in the car with her. He loved having his kids and grand kids around to joke and cut up. He loved to make people laugh so much. He loved to work in the garden and enjoyed selling vegetables on side of the road. These were his most enjoyable activities.

Billy will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jasper and Carrie, step father Addle Guree, his wife Nelva Ware, and one unborn child that was stillborn.

Those that were left behind to cherish his memory are: his three sons, Richard  ( Diane) Ware of McMinnville, Tennessee, Billy G Ware of Kinder Louisiana, Jacin Ware of Manchester Tennessee; and two daughters, Rebecca Holland of Antioch Tennessee, and Crystal ( Will ) Moores of Antioch Tennessee.

One brother Abby Ware, of Oakdale Louisiana and five step sisters. Fourteen grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He will be missed by many.
