Candy Maitland

Candy Roberts Maitland, age 62, of Nashville, passed away on December 27, 2022.  Candy graduated from Westview High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee.  She owned Maitland’s Permanent Botanicals florist for several years. She was a huge fan of the University of Tennessee Vols and Tennessee Titans and enjoyed practicing yoga.

Candy was preceded in death by her father, Robin Roberts.  She was the beloved mother of Trey and Connor Maitland.  She will be greatly missed by her mother, Joyce Haworth; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia and Ross Dempster and Beth and Scott Derrick; her brother, Steven Roberts; her aunt, Betty Cannon; and her grand-dog, Tee.  Several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends also survive.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Sharon Church of Christ, 151 W. Main St., Sharon.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Nashville Humane Association, 213 Oceola Avenue, Nashville, TN 37209 or nashvillehumane.org.
