Charles Austin

Charles Richard "Dick" Austin, age 79 of Nashville, TN passed away on April 7, 2017. Mr. Austin was born on August 7, 1937 in Memphis, TN to Charles Albert Austin and Mildred Shirley Hobbs Austin.Mr. Austin graduated from Hiram College in Ohio. After graduation, he served in the Army for two years, during which time he was stationed in Butzbach, Germany.He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Albert and Mildred Austin; grandparents, W.S. and Mary Hobbs; aunt, Aileen Austin; and uncles, Walker Word Hobbs and Pat Hobbs.He is survived by his sister, Mary Ann "Norty" Austin Burnett; brother-in-law, L.G. "Buddy" Burnett; niece and nephew, Katharine Aileen Burnett and Patrick Austin Burnett; aunt, Katherine Hobbs; cousins, Walker, Scott, and Holly Hobbs.No services are scheduled at this time.
