Donna Jean Brewer

A daughter, a sister, a cousin, a niece, a mother, a nanna and a friend to many. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donna Jean Brewer. Donna lost her battle to Pulmonary Fibrosis while residing in the care of Alive Hospice Residency, Nashville, TN, on July 13, 2024.

Donna was born on March 30, 1967 to Rebecca A. Taylor & Jerry Elmore. Although Donna had many family roles, her greatest joy was found in being a Nanna. Donna is survived by her 4 grandchildren: Malarie Shay Keen, Gavin Isaiah Keen, Phoenix Timothy Lee Keathley, Amara Harley Skye Keathley , her two daughters whom blessed her with such a joy: Kristina Jean Keathley and Rebekah Shantel Keen, extended family: Rebecca Taylor (Mother), Janelle Whitehouse (Sister), Tracey Lynn Elmore (Brother), Jerry Lee Elmore (Brother), many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by: Jerry Elmore (Father), Mr. & Mrs. John T. Taylor (Maternal Grandparents), Mr. & Mrs. Rayburn Elmore (Paternal Grandparents), several aunts and uncles, Taylor Elmore (Nephew).

Donna was able to rededicate her life to the Lord shortly before departing from this world leaving the family overwhelmed with thankfulness, joy, relief, peace and comfort in knowing she now resides in the kingdom of our heavenly Father. 

*The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.*
