Dr. Jerry Bruce Malleus, D.D.S., born May 7, 1949 in Los Angeles, CA passed peacefully on Saturday, September 24, 2022 in Nashville, TN. He was a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather.
A true Angeleno, he graduated from Fairfax High School in 1967, received his Bachelor of Science from USC in 1971, and earned his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from USC School of Dentistry in 1975. For over 35 years, Jerry practiced dentistry and throughout retirement, he was an avid numismatist. He was a lifelong sports fan who loved Dodgers baseball and Trojan football. An eternal audiophile, he loved rock n’ roll music, live concerts and cranking it up to 11.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gene & Florence (Jacobs) Malleus, in-laws Irving & Rose Gersten, and brother Gene Malleus. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eileen Malleus, son Shawn (Leigh) Malleus, daughter Erin (Bruce) Malleus-Mayer, son Ryan (Ilana) Malleus and grandchildren Jackson, Lena, Morgan, Ben and Dylan; sister Lesley (Jerry) Littner.

The family would like to extend gratitude to the care teams at Alive Hospice, Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
