Ella Mae Jordan, 73, a long time resident of Lewisburg, TN, died on October 9, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on November 12, 1946 to the late Mamie Katherine Jett, and the late George Richard Jett. Growing up in the Tennessee countryside, she loved having a large family to spend time with. She met the love of her life, the late James Jensen Jordan, when she was 26. The two of them did very exciting traveling out west for many years after they married. She eventually worked in fast paced Las Vegas for over ten years, but ultimately wanted to move home to the simpler countryside life in Tennessee, and back to her roots and family. Along with her husband adoring her for 45 years, she was truly treasured by her two sons and their wives, and she left quite a legacy in her five grandchildren.Quiet strength mixed with a sweet innocence about her, Ella could be so joyfully excited about the simple things in life. Some of her favorite hobbies included singing beautifully in the style of Loretta Lynn worship songs and classic country. She loved to crochet for all her friends and family, and make everyone around her delicious gourmet candies and deserts. Ella loved collecting deer figurines, and changing the decor of her house to match each season. Thanksgiving turkey and dressing was her ultimate favorite meal, and we always loved seeing the wintertime wonderland that was her house every Christmas. The hobby she loved the most by far was spending time with the love of her life James. He would always say with a big smile that he married up getting his "Ellie". They traveled the country side by side in the cab of his truck. The family is so thankful that these two souls from opposite sides of the country God brought together, and that they had many happy years together. Since his passing in late June, the three months apart was an incredibly long time for Ella, as they had never spent a day apart in their forty five years of marriage. We all find comfort during our heartbreak knowing James is there to show Ella around eternity. Ella couldn't wait to sing praises to Jesus in person. We will forever miss her daily, but we know she is in a place of no illness or pain. Filled with joy and glory that we can't comprehend, she is beholding the face of Jesus, and walking through glory with her beloved James, and all her family and friends that have gone on before.Ella is survived by her eldest son and wife Jensen James Jordan and Liza Marpa Jordan, and their children Jensen Marpa Jordan, Trevor Marpa Jordan, Liam Marpa Jordan, and Keira Rose Marpa Jordan. Ella is also survived by her youngest son and wife Aaron Jordan and Apryl Noelle Jordan, and their son Aaron Malachi Jordan. Surviving siblings and their spouses include : Edward and Kathy Jett, Francis and Winston Doud, Mary Jane and Ray Lloyd, Paul Jett, Christine Sumners, and David Jett. She was also loved by her late siblings: Kathleen Lemay, Richard Jett, and George Jett. She was also blessed with many nieces and nephews that she treasured. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to so many. She will be greatly missed.
