Emilie Deanna Posey, age 25 of Nashville, passed away June 8, 2015. She was born November 6, 1989 in Nashville, TN.Emilie will be remembered by her family and friends for being the most incredible person they ever met and in essence, to know her was to love her. Family and friends will forever remember her loving spirit, the way she loved her family and above all, the way she loved her son, Vincent.Emilie is survived by her son, Vincent Everett Perkins, III; father, Michael Ray Posey, Sr.; mother, April Cashman Posey Kent and husband, Scott; brother, Michael Ray Posey, Jr.; sister, Morgan Elese Baird-Curtis; grandparents, Stephen and Juanita Taylor, Paula Cashman and William Key; great-grandmother, Bernice Hovious; aunt and secondary mother, Missy Scott; aunts and uncles, Alton and Linda Overstreet, Kim and Lester Goodall, Ed and Madison Mitchell, and Shannon and Missy Taylor; nieces and nephews, Hannah Rose Cashman, Baylee and Brian Martin; and many other family members and friends.A celebration of Emilie's life will be held from 1 PM until 3 PM, Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Gateway Assembly of God, 1642 TN-HWY 12, Ashland City, TN.Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org/donate or to any local chapter.
