Gary Williams

Gary Robert Williams was born April 29, 1959 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the third born of 4 boys in his family. Growing up, Gary enjoyed playing sports from baseball, football, and wrestling. In high school he was a state champion wrestler in this weight class. Gary enlisted in the Marine Corp after high school where he served his country for 4 years. After Gary's time in the service, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee with a friend he met in the service. He started working in the restaurant business where he met Jana Phillips. After a brief time of dating, they married and within the first year of marriage welcomed the birth of their first child, Jeffrey Williams. Three years later, they would welcome daughter, Morgan Williams, Their third child, Tyler Williams arrived four years later.

Gary and Jana formed a successful cleaning business in the early 1990s, and that business continues to successfully operate. Gary loved the Cleveland Browns, working to build company, and spending time with his grandchildren. Gary fought a hard battle of heart attacks and cancer toward the end of his 63 years here. Gary passed away August 17, 2022 from cancer. Gary leaves behind 3 children and 5 grandchildren who love and miss him very, very much.
