Gerald Kesl Humphreys

Gerald "Jerry" Kesl Humphreys, age 84, of Dickson, TN and formerly of Anderson, TX, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was born in Memphis, TN, on March 17, 1939, to the late Tom Daniel Humphreys and the late Libuse "Libbie" Kesl Humphreys.

Survivors include his nieces Robin Adair Page and Jennifer Adair.

In addition to both parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Branson Humphreys, his brother, Tom D. Humphreys, and his sister, Lou Celia Adair.

After attending Texas A&M University, Jerry received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Tennessee and his Master's from Southern Methodist University. He spent several months on various occasions in Ethiopia, in Tennessee, in Texas, and in the western USA, on archaeological excavations. Additionally, he taught high school classes in Tennessee and Texas.

In lieu of flowers , the family requests a donation to the charity of the giver’s choice. In accordance with Jerry's wishes, no service will be held.
