Harold Lee Pugsley, of White House, Tennessee, age 79, passed to life eternal on June 30, 2022. He was blessed with a large number of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Harold was born on June 2, 1943 in Peoria, IL to his late parents Bonniejean Annabelle Pree and Harold Lewis Pugsley.
He was also proceeded in death by his wife Georgia Lee Pugsley and son, Daryl Lewis Pugsley. Harold is survived by his stepmother Mary Pugsley, daughters Diana (Brian) Davis and Debbie (Davis) Taylor, son David (Denise) Pugsley, six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Harold served in the Air Force over 22 years, including time in France, Italy and Turkey earning full retirement as Senior Master Sargent. He received several noteworthy awards including Honor Graduate for finishing first in his noncommissioned officer class. After retiring from the military, he worked in Civil Service supporting military operations for ten years and then ten additional years as a computer operator for Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance.
He was a meticulous researcher, particularly in genealogy and history, a dedicated student of the Bible, and a loyal and supportive family man. In addition to family and friends, Harold enjoyed the companionship of dogs.
A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (UMC) in Hendersonville, Tennessee on Saturday, July 9. Visitation will begin at 10 AM with service to follow at 11 AM.
