James Martin

James Edward Martin, age 65 of Lyles, TN, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. Mr. Martin was born October 10, 1951 in Spencer, Iowa to Edward Milton and Bessie Louise Evans Martin.Mr. Martin attended Conquerors Bible College in Portland, OR and served his Lord as a minister for many years. He will be remembered for his thirst for knowledge, always reading and continuously educating himself in theology and a giving sprit that lead him to countless hours of volunteer work. He was also an avid collector of all things "Mickey Mouse". Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend.Mr. Martin is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donalda Martin of Lyles, TN; sons, Keith (Lisa) Martin of Hilliard, OH, Kurtis (Amanda) Martin of Nashville, TN and Kalvin (Ashley) Martin of Terre Haute, IN; brother, Carl Martin of Harlin, IA and sister, Betty Eakright of Omaha, NE.A service to celebrate Mr. Martin's life will be conducted at a later date and arrangements will be announced as they become available.
