James Perdue

James Jenkins “JJ” Perdue, 75, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024.

JJ was born April 29, 1949 in Huntingdon to the late Benton and Margaret Anne (Jenkins) Perdue. He was a retired electrical engineer for the State of TN Department of Wildlife Resources. Prior to coming to work for the state, he spent a quarter century as a small business owner, specializing in manufacturing. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years; Dolores (Anderson) Perdue, daughter Rachel (Seth) Huber, son Ben (Megan) Perdue, grandchildren Elizabeth, Sam, and Peter Huber, Evelyn and Grant Perdue, sister Marianna (Lee) Smith, as well as his loved nieces and nephews.
