Jerry Selton McCall (Bud) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 2nd, 2025, at the age of 82. Jerry was born on October 18th, 1942, in Nashville, TN, to the late Mary Lawing McCall and Gerald Dewitt McCall. 

Jerry graduated from Cohn High School in 1960, and then Tennessee Tech University in 1965. Jerry married Billie Reed Martin McCall, and they were married for 62 years. Following his Graduation Jerry began working as a Quality Control Engineer at Ford Glass Plant. Jerry worked at Ford for 31 years until his retirement in 1996. 

Jerry is survived by his wife Billie, son Jeffrey McCall, son Scott McCall, daughter Debbie Geddes (Jeff) and son Derek McCall (Jennifer), and sister Beverly Gillespie. Known affectionately as "Papa" he was adored by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. 

Jerry loved others in a way that should be honored. His love and compassion for others was apparent throughout his entire life. Nothing gave him greater joy than being around his family and friends. Jerry also loved to fish, golf, and travel with his wife. He loved watching tv, especially Andy Griffith and the old Western movies. 

Jerry will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
