John Armstrong

John M. Armstrong, Nashville, TN, formerly from Corpus Christi, TX and Bloomington, Il passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at West Meade Place in Nashville. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no funeral service per his request.

John was born in Bloomington, Il on December 27, 1934 to Miles and Opal (Rich) Armstrong. He graduated from Bloomington High School and then served in the Navy for 4 years in Corpus Christi, Texas. He met and married Raylene (Ragsdale) on March 12, 1955 (67 Years). They moved to Bloomington, Il where John worked and raised his family until his retirement.

John is survived by his wife and his children: Terry of Galesburg, Il, Dale of Nashville, TN, Rod (Nancy) of Nashville, TN and Todd of Humble, Texas. Grandchildren: Brandi, Miles (Kat), Jonathon, Forest (Brittany), Nathan Armstrong and Justine (Tony) Wilson. He is also survived by a brother, James of Normal, Illinois.
