[bws_google_captcha]Jose Luis Escobar, age 66 of Nashville, TN passed away from from injuries sustained in an accident on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016. Mr. Escobar was born in Manta, Ecuador on November 15, 1950.Mr. Escobar lived in Canada for 22 years, before coming to the United States in 1994. He lived in Washington D.C. and California, before he became a permanent Nashville resident in 1997. He was a reliable, hard-working man who had a great work ethic. He was a big brother, always giving good advice to his siblings. He was always concerned with the well-being with his sisters in Nashville and he becamse a big influence and part of their life.He was preceded in death by parents, Luis Alfredo Escobar and Flor Obdulia Sornoza; grandparents, Jose Braulio Escobar and Amanda Delgado.He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Lynn Mitchell Escobar of Nashville; daughter, Nathalie Escobar, son, Jose Luis Escobar Junior; sisters, Siglinde Escobar, Sofia Luallen and her husband, Sylvia Davis and her husband, Carmen Daniel and her husband, Josefina Zolztman and her husband, Vielka Escobar and her husband, Patricia Cedeno and her husband, Cecilia Barcia and her husband, Marina Escobar; brothers, John Escobar and his wife, Gabriel Escobar and his wife, Alfredo Escobar and his wife, Miguel Escobar and his wife.A memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Center for Spiritual Living, 6705 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church. A reception will immediately follow at Tequila’s Mexican Restaurant on Annex Avenue in Nashville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Escobar's memory to Ronda Escobar, 111 Old Hickory Blvd #108, Nashville, TN 37221.
