Julia Michelle Armstrong

August 23, 1973 — January 30, 2025

Armstrong, Julia Michelle "Julie Bug" 51, passed away after an extended hospitalization on Thursday, January 30th, 2025 at Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Ashland City, TN.

She is preceded in death by her son, Nathan Dillingham and her parents, Andrew "A.J." Armstrong and Mildred "Joyce" Cobble.

She is survived by her son, Nicholas Armstrong and her daughter, Chelsey Tibbs. Julia had a large family including her sisters; Kim Scarberry, Angela Horner, Lora Cavallaro, and Christina "Joy" Howard and her brother, Jason Armstrong, wife Tonya Armstrong. She also was blessed with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Julia was employed at Phases Rehabilitation Halfway House as the director for over 10 years and assisted many women to find sobriety. This she considered her greatest accomplishment. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

As per her request, her remains have been cremated. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held in her honor at Blackman Community Center on February 16th, visitation with family is at 2:00, service to follow at 4:00, where Eddie Poole will be the speaker.
