Kevin Lyn Brockway

Kevin L. Brockway, 69, passed away on June 16, 2024. Kevin

was employed by Holland & Knight as a Cyber Security Analyst

for the past 16 years.

He was born in Coloma, Michigan and spent the majority of his

life in Niles, MI before moving to the Nashville, TN area in 2005.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene (Gene) and

Phyllis (Burton) Brockway; paternal grandparents Cyril and

Catherine Brockway; and maternal grandparents John and Zona

Burton.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Cathy and children Michael (Lecia)

Brockway, Sarah Beckman, Kelley Brockway, and Corinne (Matt)

Barker, stepchildren Tyler Games and Alexa (Patrick) Copeland;

brother John (Patty) Brockway and sister Jodie (Tim) Wait.

Other loving survivors include his grandchildren, Emma, Abby,

Graham, Gabriel, Emilee, David and Julien and a nephew, Eric

Brockway.

In 1997, Kevin’s biological family found him and he was able to

spend many years getting to know and spend time with them.

They include his mother, Beverly Politte and siblings Kathy

(Kelley) Silvey, Angie (Mick) Schlossler, and Jeff (Pam)

Newcomer.

Kevin was a skilled musician, song-writer and luthier, a talented 

martial artist and a devout Christian.

At his request, no traditional funeral will take place. A

memorial or celebration of life may be held in the future

Nashville Cremation Center is honored to be entrusted with Mr.
