Kurk Wheeler

Kurk Wheeler 58 peacefully passed away December 25, 2023, in Tennessee. Born in Berlin NH, Kurk was the son of Donald Chic Wheeler and Gertrude L’Heureux Wheeler.

Kurk graduated Berlin Senior High School Class of 1984, served in the United States Navy, attended St John’s Seminary. Kurk was a happy-go-lucky person with a heart of gold. His hearty laugh and generous spirit extended beyond his family.

Kurk is survived by his life partner Aron Grebner, Mother Gertrude (L’Heureux) Simmons and Maurice , Sister Debra Douglass and husband William Of Berlin NH, Brother Shawn Wheeler and Wife Jennifer of Maine, Brother Eddie Wheeler and Kate of Newport, NH, Sister Margo Lavertue and Bernie of Maine, Brother Guy Wheeler of Berlin NH, Patty King and Gene of Berlin NH, Twin Brother Kevin Wheeler and Brenda of Berlin NH, Sister Tammy Benoit and husband John of Bonita Springs FL, Kendra Mathwig and husband Bill of Dublin, Ohio. Several cousins and nieces, nephews, and amazing close friends.  

Kurk’s presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will continue to be a beacon of warmth and joy for all who had the pleasure of knowing him.  A celebration of life will be scheduled in July of 2024.
