Linda D Heath (Gibson)
Linda D. Heath (Gibson), 69, of Hermitage, Tennessee, died peacefully on October 14th, 2023. Linda was born to the late Almeta McClendon on August 13th, 1954, in Wichita, Kansas. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
Linda was among the most beautiful, loving, caring, and compassionate souls we have ever had the pleasure to know, love, and be loved by. She was the one who was always there for you no matter what the circumstances, and we always knew we could count on her for anything. Linda was our rock, a wonderful wife to her husband of 30 years, Dustin Heath, a fantastic mother to her children, Jeff, Tony, and Ashley Kane, and even more so to her ten grandchildren, Skylar, Aidan, Kolton, McCale, Noah, Paige, Kaylee, Xander, Cash Kane, and a great-granddaughter.
In her professional life, Linda held various managerial positions. She worked as an Office Manager at TKO Fire Protection Inc. in Mt. Juliet, TN, from 2004 to 2005, an Operations Manager at New Horizons Computer Learning Center in Wichita, KS, from 1999 to 2002, and as an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable / Assistant Office Manager at Western Heritage, Inc. in Kechi, KS from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, she served as an Operations Manager at Sunwest Industries, Inc. in Wichita, KS, from 1988 to 1994.
Outside of work, Linda had a passion for travel with her husband. She loved exploring various destinations in the United States and Europe, creating cherished memories along the way. Additionally, she loved to visit her family members when she could.
Linda leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her brothers, Kirk and Doug Gibson, and her sisters, Theresa Bedigrew, Darcy Dixon, and Cindy Sams. Linda's memory will forever be cherished by her loving children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, mother-in-law, and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Almeta McClendon, stepfather, Thomas McClendon, her brother, Randy Gibson, and her grandson, River Kane.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held at Resthaven Mortuary on November 11th, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Please join us as we honor and remember this remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many.
