Martha “Marty” Haselden, 78, of Brentwood, Tennessee, passed away September 18, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was born July 27, 1944 in Shelbyville, Tennessee to Donald and Lane Roberts.
Marty was a lifelong learner and educator. While she attained a Master’s degree and earned credits toward a PhD, her career and passion as teaching. She wore a multitude of hats and worked many years in the Williamson County school system serving as a middle school teacher, high school teacher, interim principal, and assistant principal throughout her career as an educator.
She is predeceased by her father, Donald Roberts and brother Phil Roberts.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Jeff, daughters Mandy (Tommy) McArthur and Sami Grant, mother Lane Roberts, brother Hill Roberts, grandson Sean Pewitt, as well as a multitude of extended family and friends.
