Mart was born January 25, 1956 in Jackson, Mississippi. He died June 1, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee following heart surgery.
Mart is survived by his mother and father, his brothers and sister, his nephews and great nephew, his aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family, his pets and his friends. He loved all of them dearly and would do anything he could for them.
Mart lived the past several years, up to the time of his death, in Tracy City, TN at the former home of his grandparents. He loved to hike the Fiery Gizzard and particularly loved Black Canyon Falls.
