Mary Frances Casey

Mary Frances (Allison) Casey, formerly of Louisville, KY, departed to heaven on September 17, 2024at the age of 97. She is survived by daughters Diana Olphie, Beverly Effinger, Janet Kraft (Frank) and Peggy Kavich (William “Bill) as well as grandchildren, Alison McMahan, Kelly “K.O.” Herston (Paula), Michael Kavich, Christy Herston, Heather Wall (John) and Dustin Kavich. She also leaves great-grandchildren Casey Effinger (Josh), Chase Wall, Cole Wall, and Emily McMahan. Additionally, she leaves behind her brother, Wayne Allison, Jr. (Patsy) and nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances (Cook) Allison and father, Wayne G. Allison, Sr. She devoted her life to raising four daughters. Whether sewing ruffled Easter dresses, working a full-time secretarial job, gardening, cheering for her Kentucky Derby pick, dancing or planning the next family gathering, she loved family. Internment will be at Floydsberg Cemetery following a celebration of life at Duncan Memorial Chapel on site in Crestwood, KY on October 11, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
