Mary Joyce”Grannie” Tatum, age 74, of LaVergne, TN went home to be with the Good Lord on August 10, 2016 at 8:30 p.m.Mary Tatum, loving daughter of Gus Randal Sikes and Mary Louise Sikes, passed away on August 10, 2016 after a long illness with family at her bedside. Mrs. Tatum worked until her retirement. She will be Greatly missed by her Family and Friends.She was preceded by her son, Jeff Randal Dennis, who passed at the age of 49.She is survived by her daughter, Donna Abrams and son-in-law, Chris Abrams; two grandsons, James Plater and Nicholas Plater; and one great-grandchild, Elizabeth Plater.Memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, August 19, 2016 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home, 145 Innsbrooke Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN, 37128.
