Matthew Rose

Matthew "Max" Rose, age 52 of Nashville, TN, passed away in his home on Monday, December 19 ^th , 2016. Max was born on August 14, 1964 in Denver Colorado to Lana Janine Adams and William Gene Rose.Max was a loyal Cubs and Broncos fan, loved to cook, found happiness on the golf course and listening to live music, most especially Michael Franti and Spearhead with his loving wife, Kim . He loved the water and ocean breezes and dreamed of retiring on a sailboat. He was a loving husband, friend, and father. He spent most of his young years in Denver, Co. and Colby, KS before moving to Chicago. He met his wife in Chicago in 2008 and relocated to Nashville, TN after their marriage in 2013.Max is survived by his wife, Kimberly Rose of Nashville, TN; daughter, Mason Rose of Nashville, TN; mother, Lana Hessenius of Colby, KS and brother Larry Waddington of Derby, KS. He will be greatly missed by cousins Joshua and Carole, Aunt Linda and many dear friends across the country, including his beloved dog and steadfast buddy, Simon.Max will be remembered by many for his vibrant personality, warm hugs, and robust laugh. His vibrancy and charm will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.A celebration of life will be conducted at a later date and details will be announced as they become available.
