Michael Wilkerson

Mike passed away following surgery at Tri Star Centennial Medical Center at the age of 66.Mike is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 46 years Pamela Morris Wilkerson, his son, Stephen (Sarah) Wilkerson, and daughter Ashley ( Nathan) Cooper.Grandchildren: Jonah Wilkerson, Geneva Wilkerson, Jackson Cooper, and Carter Cooper.His Dog: Rusty a true loyal companion and faithful member of the family.Brothers: George (Betty) Wilkerson, John “Bo” ( Aneece) Wilkerson Jr., Gary (Kim) Wilkerson.Sister: Wanda ( Jeff) GivensMany special and loving nieces and nephews.Mike was preceded in death by his parents John and Edith Wilkerson and a sister, Joyce Blanchard.He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, graduated from Cohn High School in 1972 and achieved an Associates Degree from Tennessee State. He was a veteran of the United states Army.He was a well respected and admired Captain of the Metro Fire Department with 41 years of service including his part time service after retirement. He was a true partner and friend to all. His fellow fireman call him someone that you could depend upon.Family will receive Guests: Monday January 20, 2020 4-8 p.m., Visitation: Tuesday January 21, 2020 11a.m. – 1p.m. with Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1 p.m. All services will be held at West Meade Fellowship 277 Old Hickory Boulevard Nashville, TN 37221.
