Paul Markee

Paul Conrad Markee, age 80 of Nashville, TN passed away March 13, 2017. Mr. Markee was born March 17, 1936 in La Crosse, WI to the late Conrad Lloyd and Thelma Pauline Wong Markee.After graduating East High School in Madison, WI, he joined the U.S. Coast Guard. Paul retired from FedEx and loved camping with The Telephone Pioneers camping group, the Volunteer Traveling Bells. He enjoyed cookouts, family gatherings and vacations. Paul was a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather ("PaPaul") and friend.Paul was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Irene Dyer Markee.He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Osterhoudt Markee; his children, Jeff (Eryn) Markee, Lori (Bill) Morgan, Melanie (Jim) Tarter and Jon (Shelly) Osterhoudt; eight grandchildren, Lindsey (Shaun), Laura, Drew, Keats, Abbey, Jimmy, Derek, Daniel; and two great-grandchildren.A memorial gathering will be held from 12 P.M. until 3 P.M., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Markee's home.In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Paul’s name to Alive Hospice or charity of your choice.
