Peggy Johnson, age 62, moved on to her glorious residence in Heaven on Friday, December 15, 2017. She was born December 1, 1955, the daughter of the late James Richard Pardue and Mary Elizabeth Brewington Pardue.She worked in customer service for State Industry until 2010. She loved dancing and music. She was a great singer and loved to shop. During her life with dementia, she loved being a part of ‘The Veranda' at Impact Fellowship in Gallatin, TN. She loved all the people there, especially Mary Anne, Libby, Cohen and Ms. Edna. ‘The Veranda' gave Peggy a purpose in life! We are so grateful for that!In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Johnson.She is survived by her mother, Liz Mower; sons, Marc Odell Hanberry and Phillip Warren Hanberry; daughter, Shelby Rae McNeese; grandson, Edan Grey Hanberry; sisters, Jacqulyn Raphael and Melody Layne Vaudrey; and brother, Charles Randall Pardue.A Celebration of New Life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, December 18, 2017 at Impact Fellowship, 650 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066. Her final resting place will be in the Gallatin City Cemetery, with burial following the service at the church.
