Peggy Ronzzo

Peggy A. Ronzzo, age 74 of Morganton, NC, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 in Nashville, TN with her daughter and son-in-law at her bedside.Peggy grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and later lived many years in Grand Rapids, Michigan area where she worked at Yamaha Musical Products for many years and raised her daughter. She moved to the Morganton, NC area in 1989 where she was owner and operator of A Music Box, The Contract Post Office (better known by her dog Rosie) and a co-founder of Desserts First with her dear friend, Lila Buchannan. She retired due medical issues in 2005 where she remained at her home with "The Beautiful View".She was preceded in death by her son, Monte G. Ronzzo; daughter, Elizabeth S. Ronzzo; parents, John Ellison and Donna D. Ellison; brothers, Jack Ellison and G.C. Ellison; and sisters, Frances Lamoreaux and Belle Forrest.She is survived by her daughter, Vickie L Wood and son-in-law, Gary L. Wood of Old Hickory, TN; her long-time companion, James Oppewal; special nieces, Patricia (Don) Scott and and Jeanne (John) Wood; and many other family members and friends.A Celebration of Life will be at a later date in Morganton.
