Racheal Bohannan

Racheal Ashley Beal Bohannan, age 48, beloved wife of Craig Bohannan and mother of Blair and Talley Bohannan, Fairview, TN went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 8th at 11:50PM. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones in her last hours on earth. She fought a good fight the last 2 years in her battle with cancer. She was an amazing example of courage and we were very proud of the way she dealt with this disease with faith, dignity, and her warrior like spirit.Racheal was born on August 13, 1971 to Sarah "Sally" Dumas Beal and Ken Beal in Auburn, Alabama.She married Craig Blair Bohannan in Nashville, Tennessee, February 6, 1999. Racheal leaves behind their son David Blair and daughter Talley Elizabeth. She is preceded in death by her mother Sarah "Sally" Dumas of Auburn Alabama, and is survived by her father, Ken Beal, Nashville, TN.Racheal was a devoted wife and mother. She took great pleasure in working in the home and making it a safe sanctuary for her husband and children. She was a devoted Christian and helped in Children's, Youth, and Marriage. Racheal and her husband Craig were heads of the Cell Group ministry at Oasis Family Worship Center in Dickson, TN where Racheal also sang on the Worship Team and helped each year with the Vacation Bible School programs.She leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends along with a bonus daughter, Asia Alexandria Brantley and 4 grandsons. Though we will miss her, we all have many fond memories to cherish of her fun loving sense of humor and thoughtful ways.Racheal's Memorial Service will be Sunday, May 24th at 3:00PM, The Pavilion Church, 612 W Due West Avenue, Madison, TN 37115.In lieu of flowers the family requests that those who wish may make a contribution to the Racheal Bohannan Memorial Fund by check established at Pinnacle Bank in Nashville, 150 Third Avenue, South, Suite 800, Nashville, TN 37201: ATTN: Stephen Horn.
