Ralph Eugene Torrence

Ralph Eugene Torrence Jr. of Nashville, TN passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025 with his wife and daughter by his side. Mr. Torrence, known as Gene by his loved ones, was born on June 23, 1943 to parents Mary and Ralph Torrence. Gene was employed by Stanley Air Tools for nearly 30 years as an Industrial Sales Engineer. During his tenure there he was presented with many distinctions, including a commendation from CEO Runyon for his collaboration with the engineers at the Nissan plant by providing premium equipment and installation of car assembly products.

Gene was an avid golfer in his younger years and enjoyed fishing and boating on the many water ways of Tennessee. He was a loving family man with a talent for finding humor in every situation. His ability to connect and form lasting and close relationships was evidenced by the many people who enjoyed his sharp wit, laughter, and called him friend.

Gene will be exceptionally missed as the patriarch of the family. His fatherly advice and his way of making the ones he loved feel special and important were hallmarks of the kind of person he was.

Gene is survived by wife Joyce, daughter Cindy Wolf (Heinz), son Cliff, grandchildren Collin, Savannah, Aaron and Daniela Wolf and brother William Torrence. A celebration of life will follow at a date to be determined.
