 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Joe” Speltz.

Joe was born in Champaign, Illinois on December 27th, 1947 & entered his heavenly home at the age of 76 on October 31st, 2024, in Hermitage, Tennessee. 

He is survived by Opal Centers, wife of 35 years. Brothers; Francis Speltz of New Jersey, Adi Singh (Adi Car) Khalsa of Arizona and Sister Cathy (Jim) Manint of Bement, Illinois. Daughters, Jessica (Jim) Folger and Patricia (William) Jarrett. Sons Peter (Ida) Speltz and David Joe. Stepdaughter Kelsie Cantrell, Stepson Louis (Tammy) Holston. Joe has 5 Grandsons, 1 Granddaughter, 6 step Grandchildren along with 3 Nephews and 3 Nieces. Joe is preceded in death by his parents Merrit & Jeanette Speltz, Grandson Tony Lee, and Stepson David Holston. 

He worked & took pride in the hardwood flooring business for 30+ years until he retired. Joe enjoyed old Country Music, old movies, Sunday football, & baseball as well as listening to the radio. Joe Leaves behind his legacy in his own words: I will end by saying that I love you all-you have made my life complete & most of all, I wish for you all to lift your hearts up & love one another. 

Celebration of life will be held at 207 Crestridge Dr. Old Hickory Tn. On Dec 1, 2024 at 12pm. In Lieu of flowers, Joe wished for donations to go to a Homeless Charity.
