Robert “Bob” Bruce Warner, was born on November 27, 1942, and passed away on October 8, 2022 in Dickson, TN, he was 79. Bob was born & raised in Jamestown, NY where he lived until early 2020.  At that time, he moved to Cumberland Furnace, TN to live with his son Matthew Warner & wife, Roni.

Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife Marilyn, 2004, daughter Tammy, 2002 & brother Dale, 1962. He is survived by his brother Bill Warner (Diane) - MI, sons, Scott Warner (Crista) – NY, Marc Rice – FL, Matthew Warner (Roni) – TN, David Warner – AR, Dale Warner – AR, daughter Lisa Warner-Button (Kerry) – NC and stepsons, Bob Porter (Beth) – NY, Dan Porter (Wendy) - NY, Vince Porter – PA, and Jason Porter (Robin) - NY, along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Bob served our Country in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer in Korea & Vietnam, 1964 – 1966.  He was a proud active member of the VFW & VVA in Jamestown, NY.  Bob enjoyed fishing, knife collecting & watching rodeos, along with his Pabst Blue Ribbon beer in his favorite seat at the Fish Club in Celeron, NY.

Bob was cremated in Tennessee & his remains will be buried at Soldier’s Circle, Lakeview Cemetery, Jamestown, NY on November 27, 2022.  In the end, Bob was able to give the gift of tissue & bone to those in need.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation under his name to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
