Russell Allan Snyder

Russell (Rusty) Snyder, born on June 9, 1960, and departed on January 18, 2024, due to complications preparing for a heart transplant. Rusty is survived by his Wife Heather, his brothers Thomas, Steve, James Sr, and Michael Sr, along with his sister Penny, and numerous nieces and nephews whose lives he profoundly impacted.  

Having served his country with dedication in the Marine Corps from 1978 to 1987, Rusty rose to the rank of Sergeant before returning home to his beloved family. He will be fondly remembered for his service and the indelible mark he left on the lives of those around him.

Rusty joins his brothers Herbert Jr, Richard Sr, and Clifford (Tippy), his sister Vicky, and his parents Herbert Carl Sr and Barbara Jean in eternal rest. As per his wishes, Rusty will be cremated, honoring a life well-lived and the memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

The celebration of life will be held on February 18, 2024, starting at 2pm at The Joseph T. Harris American Legion Post (163, 1633 Atlanta Hwy S E, Statham, GA 30666)
