Sandra Jean "Sandy" Vaughn, age 65 of Columbia, TN passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016. Sandy was born September 4, 1950 in Grand Rapids, MI to Ike Robinson and the former Lucille Vaughn.
She will be remembered for her kindness and giving spirit. She worked for many years as a nurse at Pontiac General Hospital. She worked for Saturn in recent years after moving to Columbia, where she leaves many adoring friends.
Sandy was preceded in death by his parents and a host of other family members.
She is survived by her sons, Bryant, Derrick and Kevin Vaughn; sisters, Joyce Robinson, Barbara Robinson, Betty Robinson, Shirley Edwards, Jerlyn Taylor and Delores James; brothers, Stephen (Tammy) Robinson, Otis Johnson and James Vaughn; grandchildren, Bryanna Vaughn, Bryant Vaughn, Jr.; Derrick Vaughn, Jr., Chantel Vaughn, Paris Vaughn and Ryan Vaughn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Condolences may be given by contacting the family at (248) 230-6895.
