Shirley Gay Sanford, 73 of Dyersburg passed away on Thursday, February 25,2021 in Nashville, TN to meet her Lord and Savior. Shirley was born on January 3, 1948 in Dyersburg to the late James Moore & Gertrude Lee Moore. She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter – Shadeannia Roxanne Newcomb, grand children Felix Tyler Archuleta, Taylor Sheridan Newcomb & Hannah Jasmyn Newcomb Drew. She also leaves behind her sister – Peggy Evans, brothers – Charles & Jerry Moore. Shirley loved her grandchildren, dog – Rosa Lee, Bible Study, and helping others. She worked at Dyersburg Fabrics and after many years became an Awana Leader, worked at Mother’s Day Out, Life Choices as well as helping many souls get sober. The family will have a private memorial & wishes for memorials in lieu of flowers to be made to: DyerCounty Community Cancer Fund, PO Box 1055, Dyersburg, Tn 38025-1055 in her name.
