Stacey Thompson

Stacey Carol Thompson, 45, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on June 11, 2022. She was born on September 15, 1976 in Lebanon, Tennessee to Billy and Barbara Humes.

She is preceded in death by father, Billy Joe Humes, mother Barbara Crossman, and husband Jerry Sanford.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Chelsey K. Humes, grandchildren Ellsieana Humes, Charles Hayes, and Cheynne Hayes, brother Bryon Humes.

A beautiful lady laid to rest. She no longer suffers, she is at her best. Up in heaven now with God, she is looking down protecting us. I will miss her face, her voice, her smile; everything about her I will miss for a while. Until we meet again I know I am safe she will always be looking down protecting this place. Nanny was the most beautiful woman in the world. She had a smile that shined brighter than 1,000 stars, a laugh that was contagious, blonde hair that curled in a beautiful way. She would do anything to make me smile. She was beautiful inside and out. She wasn't perfect, but she was the best in my eyes. The memories with her will never fade and will only grow stronger.
