Vicky Thompson

Mrs. Vicky Lynn Thompson (Fuller), age 67, of Clarksville, TN, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025. Born on November 30, 1957, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, Aunt and friend, Vicky’s life was a testament to love, faith, and unwavering dedication to family.

Vicky grew up in a military family, spending her early years in various locations around the world before settling in Clarksville in the 1970s. It was there she met her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Stan Thompson. The two were married in 1977 —a union that would span nearly five decades and serve as the foundation of a close-knit and loving family.

Vicky was a woman of deep faith and spirituality. Her strong belief system guided her actions and gave her strength through all seasons of life. She had a natural gift for caregiving—an innate ability to comfort others with her presence alone. Whether tending to scraped knees or offering words of encouragement during challenging times, she embodied compassion and quiet strength.

Her creative spirit shone brightly in everything she did. Artistic by nature and nurturing at heart, Vicky brought light and warmth into every space she entered. She was known for her kindness, grace, intellect, wit, and caring heart —traits that made her not only beloved by those closest to her but admired by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Nothing mattered more to Vicky than her family. She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her devoted husband Stan Thompson; her sons Andrew Thompson and Travis Thompson; her daughter Andrea Green and son-in-law Nick Green; and her six cherished granddaughters: Wittney Abbott (Kevin), Lindsay Sommermeyer, Kayleigh Sommermeyer, Evelyn Thompson, Emery Thompson, and Amelia Thompson. Her legacy also lives on through her beautiful mother Marilyn Fuller; siblings Jack Fuller (Trish), Linda Wall, and William Fuller; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Anne Breaux (Lou) and Lori Thompson Middleton, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as friends and loved ones.

Her father, William Fuller, Sr.; sister, Joann Brubaker (Fuller); and many loved ones who have gone before her are welcoming her with open arms and with song in their hearts.

Vicky Lynn Thompson lived a life defined by love—quiet yet powerful—always willing to give more of herself than she received, her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those she leaves behind.

An intimate gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be announced by the family at a later date.
