William Bruce Sr.

William (Bill) Charles Bruce, 75, of Madison TN passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019. Bill was born in Nashville in 1944 to Charles Leon Bruce and Rozelle C. Bruce.
Bill attended East high school in Nashville before enlisting in the Air Force. While in the Air Force, Bill became an electronics engineer and studied at the University of North Dakota. Bill worked in electronics engineering in Silicon Valley before finding his way back to Tennessee, where he opened his own electronic instrument repair shop. Bill was a lifelong devotee of science, science fiction and an avid bowler, learning to bowl ambidextrously after suffering a foot injury.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Rozelle, and his sister Patsy Wakefield. He is survived by is brother James (Jim) Bruce; four sons Scott, Alan, Bill Jr., and Merlyn; his six grandchildren Jacob, Jaycen, Nick, Rebecca, Samuel and Calum. Bill is also survived by two nieces Nikki Wakefield with sons Brandon and Elliot and Persia Bruce Wirth with daughters Galilee and Gennesaret.
