Bonita Utterback

Bonita Josephine Giusto "Bonnie" Utterback, age 67 of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away February 16, 2016 in Madison, TN. She was born December 20, 1948 in Chicago, IL to Guy Giusto and the former Mary Jane Caruso.After high school, Bonnie spent time as a competitive dancer. When she began her family, she embodied the term homemaker. After her children reached adulthood, she began her career at NALCO where she worked several years while living in Wheaton, IL. A move to Middle TN and a job with Sun Trust Bank followed. In her later years, she enjoyed being a grandmother to her cherished grandchildren. Her Italian roots were evident in her love of preparing authentic Italian meals. She was a member of Saint Stephen Catholic Church.She is survived by her husband, Ken Utterback; daughters, Shari Carlino (Len, Jr.) Gangestad, Jamie Carlino, Kendra Utterback and Ariel Utterback; brother, Jim (Joan) Guisto; sister, Diane (Phill) Slagle; grandchildren, Shane, Adriane, Payton, Layla, Koen, Maddox, Kaia, Mikey and Amai; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.A celebration of Bonnie's life will be conducted from 1 P.M. until 3 P.M., Sunday, March 13, 2016 at her daughter’s home, 1002 Springcreek Drive, Murfreesboro, TN.
