Charles Kersey

Charles Phillip Kersey, age 61 of Old Hickory, TN, passed away May 8, 2015. Phillip was born on January 29, 1954, in St. Louis, MO to parents, Charles Logan Kersey and Doris Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Leigh Ann; his sons, Christopher Travis (Felisa), Zachary (Andreya Lane); daughter, Robyn Buttram (Jason); grandson, Oscar Kersey; and special little guys, Aaron Lane and Blake Brozewski.He joined the Navy in 1972 after graduating from Union City High School. He began working for Cummins Cumberland in 1977 and worked there until 2014.Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at St. Stephen's Catholic Community, 14544 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory, TN 37138. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. and from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Friday, May 15, 2016 at St. Stephen's Catholic Community. Donations may be made to St. Stephen's or the USO.
