Gwendolyn Sue Cockerham, age 62 of Goodlettsville, TN passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Nashville. Mrs. Cockerham was born June 12, 1953 in Nashville, TN to Thomas Donald and Ruby Bell Tume Bates.She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Michelle Bates.She is survived by her children, Jeremy (Amie) Tomlin, Doug (Tamnmy) Tomlin, Tracy (Dayna) Tomlin and Lisa Cole; brothers, Donald and Jimmy Bates; and grandchildren, Bradley, Kylie, Eli, Ezra, Dustin, Austin, Justin, Christen, Ariella, Drake and Thomas Tomlin, Casey, Cory and Layla Cole, and John Thomas Bates; and her life-long partner, Charles Chester.A memorial service will be conducted at 1 P.M., Saturday, July 25th Bethlehem Baptist Church, 3323 Bethlehem Road, Springfield, TN 37172.
