Larry Johnson

Larry O. Johnson, age 71 of Hermitage, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Alive Hospice. He was born June 19, 1943 in Nashville, TN to the late James Haney Johnson and Katherine Trigg Johnson.Larry served his country during his time in the U.S. Army and served the community as a baseball coach with the Boys and Girls Club. He was an avid Vanderbilt Sports fan.He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his wife, Sandra Johnson; mother, Katherine Johnson; children, Craig Mathis, Carrie Price, Kevin Johnson and Keith (Sonya) Mathis; aunt, Josephine Pearce; eight grandchildren and many other family and friends.A private service will be held at a later date.The family requests no flowers.
